Louis-Alexandre Pitre
Professional title
After shining on the junior and amateur circuits, Louis-Alexandre was recruited by Pfeiffer University in North Carolina to play on the NCAA golf team from 2005 to 2009. Upon graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, he joined the Rouge et Or golf team, where he was named Most Valuable Player in the Quebec university circuit.
In 2010, he was one of only two Quebecers to qualify for the prestigious U.S. Amateur at Chambers Bay, Washington, the same course that hosted the 2015 U.S. Open. In 2011, Louis-Alexandre turned professional and played full-time on several American professional tours, pursuing his dream of playing on the PGA Tour while working as an assistant professional at the Club Royal Québec from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, he won the Adidas Eyewear Cup on the Quebec professional circuit. To this day, he continues to participate regularly in several professional circuits and tournaments across Canada and the United States.
After six years as a professional and shop manager at Golf La Tempête, Louis-Alexandre joined the prestigious Pinegrove Country Club as Head Professional. In addition, he has been a member of the Professional Golfers' Association of Canada (PGA of Canada) since 2012 and continues his training in teaching and golf course management in order to deepen his knowledge and continue to share it with his students.
