Our history
Ligne du temps du Club de golf Pinegrove
In 1957, members of Montreal's Jewish community set themselves the goal of building a prestigious golf club on Montreal's South Shore. Designed by one of the most famous architects of the time, Howard Watson, Pinegrove Golf Club has hosted the Canadian Open on two occasions since its opening. In 2006, the Canadian Mid-Amateur Championship was also played on Pinegrove's magnificent fairways. The course record is 64, set by Tommy Aaron when he won the Canadian Open in 1969. Since its founding, Pinegrove Golf Club has been recognized by professionals and amateurs alike as one of the finest and most challenging golf courses in Quebec.
